Unfortunately, our primary won't matter unless the 2012 GOP nomination battle drags on like the 2008 Dem fight but it's still interesting to see where Pennsylvania Republicans stand.

Sorry for not having a link or formatting this properly but I just saw it break elsewhere. Here are the details:

Communications Concepts Poll
622 GOP PA primary voters
Conducted on June 29th

Other/Don't Know 29%
Bachmann 23%
Romney 16%
Santorum 13%
Paul 5%
Gingrich 5%
Pawlenty 4%
Cain 3%
Huntsman 1%

Wow! Not to overstate a poll where "don't know" leads by 6 points almost a year before the primary, but IF Bachmann can beat Romney in PA of all places then Mittens is doomed.

Any skinny on this pollster's rep for accuracy/hackery?

I've never even heard of them before and can't find them online.

The numbers aren't really surprising though. Romney shouldn't be leading here. Thankfully, this party isn't dominated by the suburban Philly types anymore. Not to say that I'm a Bachmann fan but it's great to see Romney behind.
