I won't let Secular Progressives™ steal another holy day. Remember to keep "Saint" in your St. Valentine's Day. Have a good one.

Stopped being a holy day in 1969, according to Wikipedia. Today's holy day is St. Cyril's and Methodius' Day.

Religious observance is still permitted and should be encouraged, my good friend.

Nah, I still say Happy Valentine's Day.  I understand the significance of the "Saint", but I give just as much credence to St Valentine as I do St Patrick or St Nicholas.  I give my credence to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, not any mortal man.

Our Protestant friends really know how to rain on a parade.

I sure as hell violated the sanctity of the holiday, if it's such a Holy Day, this past weekend... and today! Smiley  And I was actually happy to spend money on jewelry for once.  Funny the place we went didn't even have cable, but there was a DVD player and we somehow killed a few bottles of Pinot Noir.  It was fun!

Did she give you a Valentine's Day discount?
