Other than not being a gun-grabber, he was complete and utter sh!t. Not that he will be replaced by anyone marginally better (as whomever Obama nominates will likely be another apologist for the surveillance state while be completely committed to shredding the Second Amendment). The Supreme Court is the worst institution in American political life, and it's a shame that it didn't die with that old, labor-baiting sonofabitch. The day that building is torn down and the Constitution is burnt is the day we get a step closer to realizing real social and economic liberty, not the capitalists' pale imitation.
