This legislation will keep public housing sustainable and affordable for years to come.

I'd appreciate Pyro dropping by to say a few more words about this one, quite honestly.

Most of the proposals in this bill are relatively minor changes designed to boost existing federal housing programs, review cost-effectiveness and sustainability of two under-discussed funding initiatives, and provide for budget increases as recommended by the SubD of Housing. I would encourage this Senate further expand upon this bill to help minimize homelessness and guarantee housing to all.

Nay. WestMidlander is right. This bill isn't fleshed out enough and no one offered any amendments to improve it.

Why ask for a statement if you intended to vote against this, anyway?

I didn't intend to vote against this. I was expecting someone to offer an amendment to improve the bill.

Although I do concur with the desire to see deliberation prior to a vote, I disagree with the notion that this bill is presently not in a satisfactorily passable state. However, I am not a senator, so this is up to you.
