12 counts including conspiracy against the US, where's nuclear Elmo now?

It seems as though this charge is about tax fraud/evasion, not Trump/Russia?

Looks like for this to go beyond Manafort's general shadiness, Mueller has to prove these crimes to be directly connected in some way to the Trump Campaign.

Former Trump advisor George Papadolulos has also been charged and has pleaded guilty.

This may be even more significant. Papadolulos apparently pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about whether he was in contact with Russian government officials during the Trump Campaign.

The SHS presser is unbelievable.
She stated Papadopoulos is a "volunteer", and Manafort's role was "extremely limited."
Each time she has been caught in a fib, she immediately transitions to the "REAL" story of Clinton collusion.

BREAKING.

From CNN's Evan Perez

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former Trump campaign official Rick Gates entered not guilty pleas before a federal magistrate judge today. Lawyers spoke for them, entering the pleas.

Manafort and Gates did not speak other than to state their names.
Gates was represented by a public defender.
They walked in both wearing blue suits: Manafort wore a tie, Gates did not.

They must be expecting pardons.

I would guess next up will be J. Kush, Trump Jr and Flynn.

I'm PRAYING it's Trump Jr. I want to see that smug smile of his wiped off of his face while he is being thrown behind bars.

He should be locked in a cage surrounded by lions and other "trophy" animals.

Ok not the end of the GOP but definitely the end of the Trump family.

Yeah, I'm sure you'll LOVE a more competent Pence and Haley and their agenda even more.

This is the appropriate rebuttal for "GOP Congress Would Never Impeach Trump".

I guess after today's revelations we should also see under new light Sanders's refusal to vote for Russia sanctions.

He voted against the sanctions bill as it contained likewise reprimands to Iran which endangered the nuclear agreement.

One effect of these indictments is that it probably puts an end to Sanders in 2020.

Sure, Jan.
