The carbon emissions on these points make them almost not worth making.

lol a tongue in cheek remark makes it into the Deluge, because Sanchez wants to promote himself.

But aren't Libertarians heartless elites who want to throw bricks economic servitude at poors? Tongue

Absolutely.

Wouldn't voted for Joseama Bin Zapatero-Chavez-Galloway, the leader of Project for a Islamic Socialist Workers Caliphate.

I thought our resident moralist not bothering to pick him up on it (except to offer him marketing tips) speaks for itself (ie works wonders in reinforcing my left-wing prejudice).

This. The CDU dominance of Germany ensured the development of a healthy social market economy rather than falling into the nationalization trap like the Brits did, leading to a massive neoliberal backlash [1] under Thatcher.

[1] It is true Germany like other countries was affected by neoliberalism during its high tide in the 1990s and 2000s but it was far milder than most and at this point the CDU has fully abandoned it on a domestic level.

It does indicate ignorance, but I don't see the absurdity or bad posting in it. I myself have no idea who those (likely awful) people are.

I'll forgive you for most of the Scandinavian PMs but Brandt, Wilson and Palme are clearly visible and that level of ignorance can't be that far off not recognising a photo of Mitterand.

Atlas privilege is being surprised that people don't recognise a group photo of middling 20th century Prime Ministers.

In fact I'm pretty sure I'd even be in the majority here when I say that I didn't recognise any of them at first glance.

Atlas privilege is choosing to spend a significant proportion of your life on a forum devoted to politics/elections and discussing the ins and outs of a (political) fart, and yet expect to be held to the same standard as the average, apolitical, joe.
