I know a lot of you are probably LYAO right now.  But, seriously, if my best friend who is very politically-intelligent, plans to run for presidency as well as go into the Naval Reserves and Law, wants to elminate most taxes especially income, and is generally conservative, but could be moderate.  He is also very likable, almost like a Republican Bill Clinton.  I plan on a career in planning/local gov't and based on my posts, you know how I stand.  Do you think we would win??  Would you vote for us (be courteous and fair please)??  Is 45 a good age?  What problems would we face then (the big question)??  Just pondering.

Maybe. Obviously as you get older and more educated you will become more moderate on some of your positions.

Hell no, because that's when I'm running!

But really, there have only been 46 vice-presidents out of all the men who ever wanted the position, so your odds aren't great. But don't give up, by any means! Gotta keep on truckin', like Nixon. And look where he ended up!

Well, look where he ended up before 1973.

Ooo...Interesting primaries.  I have confidence in myself and my running mate though.  Who knows, we might want to wait anyway.  Yeah, both Nixon and Lincoln are great examples of picking yourself up after falling so many times.

So wait...candidate for Pres and VP from the same state? I doubt that would happen.

I might move to FL, TX, WI, or somewhere else, and not solely for political reasons either.  I don't know about Pres though.  Either way, we'll have that Midwest connection.

Carpet bagger!!!!
