Governor Huckabee Response:

"I feel like most Americans there should be an audit of the Federal Reserve. I do not support abolishing of the Federal Reserve, at this time, but I do think the Federal Reserve should be held accountable and the American should be able to see what is happening. Accountability and trust in government should be the cornerstone of all institutions and it is past time for Congress to act and audit the reserve."

Governor Huckabee on his primary opponents and chances against President Obama:
"To defeat President Obama, Republicans are going to have rally around a candidate that can unite the base and reach out to and win the independents, who will decide whether or not a Republican sits behind the Oval Office in January 2013. I believe I am that candidate. I feel our strength is with the grassroots, it's what made me so successful four years ago. Second, I have a record, unlike President Obama that I can run on. I can't be painted into a corner as a flip flopper or a moderate like some candidates might be, but I can go toe-to-toe with the President. I've cut government spending, I've fixed education, I am reformer, the President is a talker, not a doer..."

Huckabee Ad Airing in Iowa and South Carolina (Country)

"Mike Huckabee, a man of integrity, a man of principle, a man of vision"

VO: Let us never sacrifice our principles for politics, not now and certainly not ever. Now is not the time for for politics as usual. Now is the time to take a stand and fight for America. Fight for the America we believe in. We don't need politicians who change their positions like a weather vane, we need leaders who will stand up and tell us the truth and actually lead. I offer myself as that candidate, not just for a party and for our country.

I'm Mike Huckabee and I approve this message

Huckabee Ad Airing in Iowa (We Can Do Better)

VO: Folks we can do better. We can do better than sixteen trillion dollars in debt. We can do better than higher taxes on the middle class. We can do better than Obamacare. We can do better with the leadership we currently have. A declining deficit, lower taxes, a health care system based on free markets and choices, and a president who actually stands on his convictions. We can do better and on January 3rd let us begin the first step. In the Iowa Caucuses I ask for your vote.

I'm Mike Huckabee and I approve this message.

Gov. Huckabee speaking on his support for the Flat Tax in Concord, NH

Latest Huckabee Ad airing in IA, NH, SC (Fairer Tax Code)
"Want to see the income tax disappear? Want to make paying taxes simpler? I'm advocating the flat tax, a solution to the mess that is our US tax code. A person shouldn't need an accountant to do their taxes and accountant shouldn't need an accountant to their own taxes. It's time to throwout the current code and replace it with a flat tax. It's fairer, it's simple and will make all our eyes a lot easier."

Gov. Huckabee Debate Response:
"This administration has been flatfooted when it comes to dealing with China. However, I do not activate we just putting fingers and raising our voices. What needs to happening is a better approach to our dealings with China. We need to outline our terms and articulate a vision. Up until now China makes all the rules and walks all over us. We need a little backbone when it comes to dealing with China, but not only China, but around the world. America has taken a backseat in the leadership role over the last four years, and for us to maintain our superpower status and for the stability of freedom around the world America must lead, and to use a phrase, from the front, not behind."

GOV. SCOTT BACKS HUCKABEE
"He is the only conservative in this race. He's not a political lightweight or a wishy-washey moderate like our friend from Massachusetts. He's he real deal. The real deal for our party and he should be without any question the next President of the United States!"

Gov. Huckabee in Florence, SC
"Obamcare is just another example of government intrusion into our economy and into our lives. It needs to go and will starting January 20th, 2013!"

Gov. Huckabee Debate Response:
"Let us first acknowledge that the President's health care law, Obamacare is bad news. It's bad for businesses, it bad for the individual and it's bad for America. I mean one does not have to look any further that the United States Postal service to see how the federal government runs an agency. Now you tell me the federal government is going to run the health care system, an industry that is 1/6th of our total economy? Give me a break. I'll tell what I'll do as President. One begin the process to repeal Obamacare and if I can get rid of parts of it through executive order on day I'll do it, but much of the law will have to be repealed. So once that's done, what next? To allow the free market to take over. Now what the heck does that mean, some people are probably saying. Get the government out of the way and provides choices for people, because all of can agree, despite what democrats are saying we as Republicans want all Americans to have health insurance, we only have a different approach to handling it.

I'll say that I like some of what Governor Daniels did in Indiana, that is a free market, free enterprise approach that leaves it in the hands not of government bureaucrats, but ordinary citizens, and while I support states to have the right to address these matters in ways they see fit, that's what the tenth amendment gives us, but Governor Romney what you did in Massachusetts is identical to what the President is doing nationally and I find it funny and downright absurbed to think that you can go toe-toe with him on stage and say 'Obamacare was a bad idea', when you yourself implemented the same policy in your state.

For me Republican credability on that issue is gone if you're the nominee, aside from the obvious and frankly numerous issues."

Debate Response:
"This Administration has seemingly forgotten Israel is our number one ally in the middle east. This President hasn't even visited Israel and he's almost been in office for four years, that's a disgrace and that needs to change. We need to support them to a fullest and under a Huckabee Administration Israel will have no stronger supporter. Now with regards to Palestinians, they don't believe Israel has a right to exist, so unlike this President's dream where you can have peace talks, it's rather hard when one the parties is drumming against the other one. The Palestinian regime has embraced Hamas, a terrorist organization, so creating peace is going to be hard there. Essentially what we need to do is stand firm with Israel much more so than we have been these past four years.

Huckabee on Hannity.

Huckabee in Sioux City, IA

"America needs more than slick talk and fancy promises and slogans. We've already seen that and sadly we're seeing it again even in our primary process. What America needs is leadership, not false leadership, but leadership that works, which is why our nominee and the next President needs to be a Governor because Governor's are experienced at running, at managing and governing government. The job of President does not lend itself to on the job training, we've see that disaster these last four years. I am offering myself as that governor, as that candidate and hopefully as that President."

Huckabee Statement on Gov. Mitt Romney's Departure
"Janet and I extend are prayers and best wishes to Mitt and Ann Romney. We wish her a speedy recovery and good health going forward. Our thoughts are with the Romney family at this difficult time."

Chuck Norris Stumps for Huckabee in Iowa
"Mike Huckabee is the one and only conservative in this race. He stands on a bedrock of principles and beliefs that are the fundamentals of this great nation. To all the candidates in this race I say lookout because Mike Huckabee is going to be the next President of the United States!"

Huckabee: Debate Response
"There is a really simple answer to this question. Stop spending money. Washington is running around like a teenager with a parent's credit cards, and both parties are responsible for contributing to the mess, but over the last three years we've seen this president run up the credit card like there's no tomorrow. The problem is President Obama is an out of control spending liberal. To solve this problem first we need to stop doing what we've done for the past three years, then cap federal spending a certain percentage, and then look to where we can cut. Simply the government needs to stop spending more than we have, instead of piling up the debt for future generations of Americans to pay."

Huckabee Schedule Nov. 14-20:

Huckabee goes after Daniels and Hutchinson in IA
"In the word of Barry Goldwater our party and candidate needs to offer a choice, not an echo. We cannot be Milquetoast. We need a candidate who can effectively and articulate the conservative message, which is why it would be a mistake for the party to nominate Senator Hutchinson or Governor Daniels. In short their candidacies would be an echo against Barack Obama, where I offer a clear choice. This is a time for our party to be bold, not timid."

Nov. 14-Nov. 17th: Iowa
-Town Hall in Clinton, IA
-Town Hall in Des Moines, IA
-Rally in Ames, IA with Chuck Norris
-Rally in Sioux City, IA
-Rally in Iowa City, IA
-Town Hall in Davenport, IA
-HQ Visit and Phone bank in Ames, IA

-Rally in Charleston, SC

Nov. 20th: Florida/Iowa
-Rally in Jacksonville with Gov. Scott
-Rally in Miami, FL with Chuck Norris and Gov. Scott
-Rally in Cedar Rapids, IA
-Rally in Waterloo, IA

Debate Response:

I believe all life is sacred, that only in extreme cases such as when the mother's life is at risk should it be an option. Frankly, it'll be a good day where Roe v. Wade is overturned. The matter of abortion should be left for the individual states to decide.

Huckabee on Hannity

Hannity: Are you concerned by Senator Hutchinson's rise in the polls?

Huckabee: No Sean. This has been a volatile race. It's been shifting back-and-forth between one candidate to another. Look I think once we get to Iowa and we see three or four candidates finish out this race will become much more stable and the nominee will become more apparent. And Sean I fully expect to be the in the top three coming out of Iowa and from there to be on my way to the nomination.

Hannity: How do you defeat President Obama, what the strategy?

Huckabee: Sean, it's the record. We hit him with unemployment above 8 percent for three years. Obamacare and the monstrosity that it is. Our decline around the world, the leading from behind mentality. President Obama is vulnerable and can be defeated, excuse me will be defeated.

Huckabee Speech in Ames, IA
"We cannot have a strong economy when society is falling apart. Two-thirds of women today who are impoverished, their children would not be in poverty if they were married to the fathers. There's a $3 billion Dad deficit, which is the direct cost that results from absentee fathers and single parents. I know some people who are fiscal conservatives who aren't necessarily social conservatives, and they may even be philosophically—they just don't think it's all that urgent. But the truth is the social conservative movement is also the foundation of the fiscal conservative movement. I'm tired of having social conservatives dismissed as irrelevant and out of touch with the real problems of joblessness and economic concerns. Social conservatism is more than social issues, it is the basis of our economics and societal system. To have a powerful economy we must have a strong society that is pure and decent, with families as a strong bedrock, with faith in God and in ourselves and neighbors. We strive for a government of limited means, one that is respectful of the state, respectful of the families and respectful of the basic principles that made this country that torch that lit the world. And America must continue to light the world, for if our torch goes out so to will the freedom of all men..."

Huckabee Goes on the Attack
"It's conservatism that's the solution. It's not quasi-conservatism and pretenders. You are either conservative or you're not. You either believe in the philosophy or not. With respect to Senator Hutchinson and Governor Daniels, I commend their service to their states and to our nation, but conservatives they are not. They willingly to run and hide from the conservative table in order to win an election. Well look at the track record for our party. Nominating a more moderate and squishy candidate has not produced an Republican Presidency. I cite examples of Bob Dole and John McCain. They're great individuals. They've served the country well, but they're not conservatives. In the words of Barry Goldwater we must offer a choice, not an echo to the American people. I stand read to lead our party and offer a clear choice from Barack Obama's big government driven view of America."

Globe Endorses Huckabee for President
"The largest newspaper in the entire region has just endorsed our campaign for President." Mike Huckabee said after taking the stage in Dover, NH. The Boston Globe endorsed Huckabee for the GOP nomination, calling him 'best prepared to be President...Huckabee has been bold, while his opponents timid."

(Released) Internal Campaign Polling: Obama v. Huckabee
Obama: 46%
Huckabee: 45%

Huckabee Ad featuring Chuck Norris (Airing in IA)
"He can be trusted. He is tested. He is conservative. He is ready. Ready to lead. Ready to fix America's economy. Ready to restore America as she was meant to be and make her a great shining city on a hill once more..."

Huckabee Ad: Life (Iowa)

VO: The frontrunner for the Republican nomination has called for a truce on social issues, but only Governor Huckabee has the courage to standup for the issues.

VO: On the right to life:

VO Huckabee: I believe life begins at conception and I will fight to see Roe v. Wade is overturned and left to the states. All life is sacred, all life must be cherished.

VO: Mike Huckabee, the courage to fight for traditional values and to preserve the moral integrity of society.

VO Huckabee: I believe that a strong America is one of faith, family and flag.

I'm Mike Huckabee and I approve this message.

Huckabee Ad: Education

VO Huckabee: As governor of Arkansas I made education the highest priority in my state and I want to see that happen when I go to Washington. I want to see more decisions on education left to the states and local communities. We do not need a federal department of education to tell our children what to learn. I support keeping education in the hands of parents and local communities. On this matter government knows little and parents know a lot.

I'm Mike Huckabee and I approve this message

Huckabee on Future of his Campaign?

Diane Sawyer: Can you still win the nomination without winning either Iowa, South Carolina or New Hampshire?

Mike Huckabee: The short answer is yes. The longer answer is this. We're competitive, we're going to do very well in Iowa and South Carolina, that I am confident of. The second matter is in this race I am the true conservative that can unite the party and defeat President Obama in November. The last couple of cycles we've nominated the moderate candidate and between Senator Hutchinson or Governor Daniels there's no difference. They're both moderate, they cannot unite the base, they cannot articulate the conservative message and if either are the nominee will be soundly defeated by President Obama. I can win."

Huckabee Press Release: Health Care
Governor Huckabee is committed to repealing and replacing the President's Health Care law, A.K.A. Obamacare. The law does nothing to fix the health care problems facing the country and will succeed in creating more bureaucracy and less security on the part of the patient. Market orientated ideas are much sounder and effective approach than a top down government one that is created via Obamacare. In short Obamacare is an entitlement the American people cannot afford and while Governor Huckabee believes every American should have access to health care it should not come at the expense of the taxpayer.

Debate Response:

"I like to think of myself a learned man, but there can always be room to learn more certainly. I know my wife Janet could make a list of things I don't know, but we won't go there tonight. Right now this country is hurting and it's hurting badly. Under President Obama's leadership these last four years, unemployment has rose, wages have fallen, our standing in the world has diminished and Americans are less confident about the future. At such a critical time it is easy to think that America may not recover, that this the new normal that we as nation must settle for. If the election goes the wrong way and President Obama is reelected I don't know what will happen, I don't want to think of it. What I do know is that if a Republican is elected next November and I'll say it right now everyone on this stage would be a much better President than Barack Obama. Anyone of us would put this country back on a path to prosperity. I know that with the right kind of leadership, with economic policies that allow business to thrive and grow and for wages to rise and unemployment to drop and for American's leadership to be reaffirmed in the world that our best and brightest days will always lie ahead."

Huckabee Campaign Schedule: Dec. 12-18

DeMint Endorses Huckabee: Calls him "Reagan-Like"
"I have waited on the sidelines throughout much of this primary process, but as the caucuses and primaries are set to start I should endorse the candidate who will not only unite our party, but defeat President Obama next November so we can get America going again. That person is Governor Mike Huckabee. I have not seen people respond to a candidate with the enthusiasm — with the real energy — that I saw them respond to Romney," DeMint said in a telephone interview. "It was pretty much Reagan-like. I can tell conservatives from my perspective is that, I'm not only comfortable with Huckabee, I'm excited about the real possibility of having him in the White House next January."

King Backs Huckabee at Iowa Rally
"...I'm going to share with you a story of a conversation that the Governor and I had together a few months ago when I met with him. Our conversation went, when you’re in the White House, in the Oval Office, and you’ve heard from all of your advisers, all of the smartest people that you can put together –- it’s [the] toughest decision that a man can make. A mortal can make in this life. And you know that some people are going to live –- maybe live better. And some people are going to die as a result of the decision that you make. How do you make that decision when it’s time to kick all of your advisers out of the room, and close the doors, and turn down the lights? “And Mike Hucakbee said to me, and America, 'I get down on my knees and I ask God.' This is the man we need in the White House. I ask you to join me in supporting him and seeing that he is the nominee!"

HUCKABEE CAMPAIGN STATEMENT: Endorsements
Governor Huckabee is honored to have the backing of two prominent conservatives voices in the party, Representative Steve King and Senator Jim DeMint. Their endorsements echo the sentiment that Governor Huckabee is the true conservative in the race and will unite the party as the nominee as President Obama and the Democrats. He thanks both Senator DeMint and Representative King for their endorsements and looks forward to campaigning with them on the trail.

Huckabee Campaigns in Iowa
"Our campaign has a new found energy and momentum. We're going all the way! We're going to win the nomination and we're going to win this election!"

Huckabee Debate Response:
"I would not. Europe needs to sort out itself and its own financial matters, while America needs to worry about our own economic stability here at home. While I acknowledge that all nations are connected in this vast geopolitical world, it is not the United States' responsibility to bailout any European country."

Hannity on Huckabee (Dec. 12, 2011)

Hannity: What do you make of the President's recent praise of Governor Daniels and how in his own words called him moderate enough to be some tough competition. He's a great voice of moderation for the party, and someone I'd like to see come out on top.

Huckabee: Sean, this is the case I've been making all the along and President Obama summed it up perfectly for me. Governor Daniels is not a true conservative. He's a moderate's moderate, pretending to be one in order to pander to the base. The President wants to run against Governor Daniels because he knows he can be defeated. He's the weakest candidate we could put up against President Obama and his praise only proves it.

Hannity: Does this so-called endorsement hurt or help Governor Daniels?

Huckabee: [Chuckles] In a Republican primary? It most certainly will hurt him going forward.

Hannity: I can see the ads coming...

Huckabee Ad: Endorsed? (Airing in Iowa/South Carolina)

What Does President Obama Have to Say About Fellow Republican Mitch Daniels?

"Well, if there's any candidate on the Republican side that I like, it'd have to be Governor Daniels. He's just moderate enough to be some tough competition. He's a great voice of moderation for the party, and someone I'd like to see come out on top."- Barack Obama

"Is that an endorsement Mr.President?"- Interviewer

"Sure."- Barack Obama

A Republican endorsed by Barack Obama is a Republican Easily Defeated by Barack Obama.

Vote for the conservative candidate who can defeat Barack Obama, not one Endorsed by Barack Obama.

Huckabee Ad: Tax Increase? (Airing in Iowa/South Carolina)

President Obama's solution to balance the budget and fix the economy?

Raise Taxes.

Governor Mitch Daniels' solution to balance the budget and fix the economy?

"At some stage there could well be a tax increase...” (Sept. 2010, Newsweek)

Raise Taxes.

In Indiana, Mitch Daniels Proposed Raising Taxes On Individuals, Non-Profits And Companies During The Recession. (Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, 2/5/10)

In Indiana, Daniels Raised The Sales Tax and Cigarette Tax.(AP , 3/8/11)

Barack Obama's Plan: Raise your Taxes!

Mitch Daniels' Plan: Raise your Taxes!

Mitch Daniels. With a record like that it's easy to see why he's Barack Obama's favorite Republican.

Speech in Sioux City, IA

"...in order for America to come roaring back we need more than simply shrink the size of the government, cut some taxes and follow the constitution, and then call it a day. We need to do all three things, but there is more nuance to it then that. The goal of my administration is not to do away with government, but to make it work and be more effective in our lives. We need to downsize the federal bureaucracy. Do we need a federal department of education, or is this something that can be applied to the states and local governments? Is the IRS a matter of necessity or can it all be solved with a flat tax? It is time to start thinking i the scale of limited government. That was and should be the intent...."
