You know tommorow ads will be run in California urging Congress to allow foreign born Americans to run for president.
If this works than it could be interesting in 2008.
I thought it takes a consitutional amendment? And wouldn't it take years to pass all the states?
Congress would have to start the process by passing an ammendment and sending it to the states. Once the states get it they can act immediately or spend years, decades or even centuries to pass it depending on whether or not the ammendemnt has a time limit.
