Yes, this seems pretty small potatoes really.

That's not to say that North Korea isn't dangerous or that such incidents are trivial, but if Korea War II is going to be caused by a few shots fired, Seoul would have been nuked by now.

IIRC, the last time there was a shooting at the DMZ was when that North Korean soldier stole a jeep and literally rammed his way to freedom. He received five gunshot wounds in the process.
