CNN already has a countdown clock of 6 days, 5 hours, ten minutes, and 38 seconds on the air I'm sure. They're acting like this is the Lincoln-Douglas debates. It's not. It's some pseudo-conservative crank who philosophizes everything around the fake philosophy he holds, while the other is the leader of the Democratic Party's internal opposition. They have no real sway over the broad debate, which will be dominated as always by soft center-right and soft center-left members of Congress.

I guess the nation is tuning out again and CNN needs the ratings boost. This election has been a huge jolt of life into their programming and you can see how desperate they are to maintain it. I have no choice but to watch this channel as I have crappy cable. I don't know what Fox or MSNBC are saying these days, but it's hard to top CNN tier desperation. They'll put up respected journalists against random talking heads (professional scream-over-ers?) on panels to analyze whether Barron Trump going to school in New York City somehow violates the Whatever Amendment, then later on they'll let Carl Bernstein go on for a solid ten minutes on a nakedly partisan rant and challenge anyone who disagrees with him (buh buh muh Watergate!) as being blind to the truth, anti-press, etc, etc.
