Dude, the RNC music was bad too. They should've played Sinatra's New York New York during the balloon drop. Instead they played a Stones song that had no connection at all.

Calm down dude.

Calm down dude. How are you gonna handle your future students?

I already have students who I've trained to be much more respectful than you, thanks.
I don't owe a random Canadian guy from an internet forum who is like two years older than me any "respect" nor have I actually disrespected you personally in any way, so I'm quite confused.

The union guys should be the headliners tonight. They're the only people not being booed.

I never said you owe me respect. Just that your behaviour is generally disrespectful. It's your character that it's reflecting poorly on.
Do you even Atlas bro?

This is just annoying now, but I'm biased against a lot of popular music today. Bernie had some cool bands backing him at least that appealed to a broader base of fans then 13 year old girls and housewives trying to be cool.

More cries of Bernie! I think that the Bernie bros are nice and rested and ready to roar again. Watch out Michelle!

Booker was on point, best part of the trainwreck. I think he survives unscathed.

These Bernie protesters ARE the millennial generation, folks.  This is the result of years of participation trophies and coddled feelings.  You can't tell these people no!

Supporters of Robert Taft, Eugene McCarthy, George McGovern, Reagan in '76 etc were all likely more 'passionate' than these Bernieites.
And all the while, better behaved. Ford wasn't booed in Kansas City.

Good music choice, by the way. I loved this ad when it aired. Best of the cycle.

This is going to be critical. He has a real chance to make a difference here.
He won't, look how it worked out for Silverman.

He's taking it to the roll call? I thought he was going to drop out on the floor and do an acclamation thing?

Reading the end of his speech, I am wondering if Hillary is going to come out on stage with him.

That would be a huge, huge mistake.
She's gonna have to face them at some point. Can't hide forever.

That's annoying.

He still probably will be.
I wonder if he goes to the roll call just to placate his supporters. He can then say "we had a vote, we lost." Might be a better move IMO. He's still way, way, way behind Clinton. There is no way that she could lose. Why not do the full roll call and call it a race?

He's apparently going to formally suspend and do an acclamation thing at the end in lieu of just letting the chair announce the results like Priebus did, but every state is going to be allowed to cast its votes. He's not going to cut it off like Hillary did.
Oh, so he'll motion to make it unanimous instead? The nays might have it, God knows the Bernie peeps are loud.

I mean, couldn't that also be a 'give DWS as little to do as possible' thing? Or has she been replaced in that capacity too? I've lost track.
I think she's walking alone through Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International if she isn't watching at home from Parkland by now.

This the first time I've ever watched a convention from gable to gable. It's been one hell of a ride.

But then again, sometimes any random person off the street can become a professor and still not fully grasp what they have studied.

Nice edit. Unlike you, though, I have actually studied Smiley

I talk circles around people like you on a regular basis, including a political science professor who worked for Lawton Chiles. I've written a novel, run for office, served on two appointed committees (state and local) and I've helping to advise two political campaigns. Thanks for playing.
Whats your name? What races have you ran? If you have these credentials, put up or shut up.

I feel bad now, I did not realize the theme was around disability rights. I thought it was just about Trump and the reporter.
