Having lived in Sandy Hook, I can definitely understand the cautiousness these days.  The problem is a lot of these schools don't know how to handle these incidents (which happen every year, because, kids) without making assholes of themselves.  This doesn't even look remotely like a firearm.
Cautious of what? A bubble gun? You should be cautious of a BB Gun, not a bubble blower.
