As if things couldn't go worse for Target... This is a serious issue because of the number of Anorexic men and Women in this country (among others) who may be "inspired" by this.

If you are finding "inspiration" in a Target catalog you need to be institutionalized.  We cannot run this country based on "what will the mentally ill think."  The one place where we should be taking the thoughts of the mentally ill into account, gun control, we completely ignore them.  Why start caring with this "issue"?

Because if we're defining deriving beauty standards from media images as mental illness now, then most of the population is mentally ill.
Beauty standards vary with the individual. I'm attracted to very thin women, like the one in the ad, while some men like women with curves. I don't see why most of the population would envy this model and feel different from others, when a vast majority of the country doesn’t look like that at all.
