Yep. McCotter stopped collecting signatures in 2004.
To be fair, signatures suck. I can't blame anyone for this type of temptation. The first three months of the campaign I worked on was dedicated to collecting, copying, and recording signatures. It felt like pressing the button that drops the New Years ball in Times Square when I entered the last one in.

And, sadly, that would have been perfectly consistent with this guy's remarkable downward spiral.
My thoughts were the same. "Political Animals" or whatever he wanted to call his show sounded like torture.
