I killed a prostitute once...yes, it was Grand Theft Auto 4, but none the less, I killed a Prostitute. I then evaded the cops from Bohan and made my way to Alderney.

Unless it was one of our Australian posters, I kinda doubt that an American or European would be so desperate as to travel to the other side of the world for sex, no offense intended. I think it was more of an awful attempt at a joke.

I just read everything Memphis has said in this thread and i have developed severe pneumonia
I can agree with Memphis somewhat, but what happened to Tik is not just a man at a bar complimenting her appearance. It was repugnant.

I fear social rejection more than anything else, so I limit myself in classes like PE at all cost to prevent embarrassment. I also tense up around certain people for no reason, and than have panic attacks thinking they have noticed the tension and will go out of my way to prove that I am not afraid/angry at them.

I haven't made any contact with anyone from my school or any people my age in general at all this summer, besides sporadic texting with this one chick and few phone calls with my best friend. I also started drinking (not heavily and in a controlled manner), and writing really dark short stories.

I am attracted to Abigail Kloubuchar's daughter. I guess I am into women ordinarily dismissed by society as "plain." I think the controversial "hot or not" thread about her was awful, but I still think the results were wrong none the less.

Don't you mean Amy Klobuchar's daughter? Who is herself named Abigail.

I meant Amy Kloubuchar, yes.

I guess I have a dumb little confession to make, about something rather silly on the greater scale of things.

So I'm really bummed out by Joan Rivers dying. Like really, really bummed out. I have been saddened by the death of celebrities before, but never like this. It’s not that I am saddened because I was a huge fan-I was a fan, but I never went out of my way to watch her on TV. I never thought that she was any more interesting or funny than any other comedian, like Louis CK and so on. I don’t quite know why I am so depressed. Maybe it was just another punch in the gut after a series of other events that has pushed me over the edge back into yet another slump. I just don’t know why I was so emotionally invested in her sudden health deterioration and death, but here I am. I guess that’s kind of embarrassing. I guess not.

Edit: I figured it out. Joan Rivers always reminded me of my grandmother. My grandmother is also extremely funny (not brutal like Joan Rivers, but she has a good sense of humor) and we are extremely close. And if you ever heard Joan Rivers on TV or on the radio, you would know how much she cared for her daughter and grandson. I think that is what is drawing such an emotional reaction. I am watching the River's family experience what I fear most.

I didn't realize that middle-class white men were the authority on defining sexual assault against women.
Have you ever been raped? Sorry, but claiming that cyberbullying of rich white teenagers in the first world is in the same category as actual rape is pretty offensive. You should be ashamed for not only trying to defend the suggestion that it is, but implying that those criticizing that suggestion are somehow misogynists for claiming that rich first world teenagers getting perverted comments online is not the same as people being actually raped.
Thank you for saying this, as someone who has been the victim of such crimes, it helps to see responses like this. Smiley
I'm sorry you've been through something like this. I can't imagine going through such a horrible thing. You're clearly a great guy and will survive through such a thing Smiley.

I really, genuinely think of myself as a bad poster and person and a blight upon the forum.
That is a huge lie, and you shouldn't let your mind convince you of that. You are, in fact, the embodiment of what is best about this forum. In fact, and I know I have told you several times now, I actually consider you to be the literal conscience of this place. You are loved and valued.
