I find the "no terrorist attacks on US soil argument" to be incredibly stupid. Just because there weren't any after 9/11 (except the anthrax), doesn't mean that we should completely overlook the fact that he was president DURING THE MOST DEADLY TERRORIST ATTACK IN UNITED STATES HISTORY. He is certainly not wholly responsible for not preventing 9/11 (though he probably could have read that "Al'Qaeda determined to strike targets in the United States" report), but neither is wholly responsible for the lack of attacks in the seven years since.
The anthrax only affected Democratic Senators. Of course it's not a terrorist attack.
But seriously, you should be talking specifically about Bush's failures: The 8/06/01 PDB. Other warnings from Richard Clarke, Gary Hart, and the Bush administration, which were also ignored. Bush's month long August 2001 vacation. The capture of "the 20th hijacker" by the FBI, who seemed like to like to like learning how to fly planes, but not the taking off or landing parts. Some FBI investigator wrote down "maybe wants to fly plane into WTC". The FBI wanted to investigate more into his Saudi ties, but the WH said back off.
Bush needs to be in prison for this sh**t.
