Inb4 strong opinions

And they’ll be paying California-level taxes. Developments like these are terrible at generating the tax revenue needed to repair roads and sustain social services. This has been a problem as long as the suburbs have been a thing in America. Sad that we don’t learn from the lessons of our past.

Prop. 13 is why old housing is such a money loser for governments.

Meanwhile in California, NIMBYs lost pretty badly, so it seems to be largely YIMBYs arguing with themselves about this new plan.
