Things have changed since 2012, lmao.

It's pretty obviously China. Their per capita GDP is almost as high as Russia's with 10 times the population. Regardless of what you think of Putin, Russia simply doesn't have the power that the Soviet Union did from 1939-1991. No one is saying that Russia is a liberal democracy, but they aren't as authoritarian as Xi's China.
