He didn't become a Democrat, he's now an independent.

Also, he didn't say that he would support Democrats. He just liked President Obama's personality.

This.

Good job, Mr. Wexner. It took you entirely too long, but thank you for admitting what kind of place the Republican party is in and voting with your feet. I hope many more follow your example.

Well, not quite.

Ohio is a state that does not have party registration.  It is the polar opposite of New York, which has party registration that makes it impossible to switch your registration to vote in another party's primary for up to almost two (2) years after you switch.  In Ohio, the party whose ballot you request is the party you are a member of; if you don't request a partisan ballot, you are an unaffiliated voter.

If he votes in all Democratic Primaries, he's a Democrat (in fact).

I'll say this:  I still don't get it why Democrats view this as a negative.  They are looking a Billion Dollar Gift Horse in the mouth, are they not?

Oh yes, the Democratic party clearly needs more rich neoliberals because there aren't enough already. If only another million Meg Whitmans had joined, Hillary would have won.
