Yes, both parties have moved to the extreme neoliberal warmongering, and choose to have a handful of wedge issues to keep people partisan.

And the Lt Governor of Vermont, isn't he a member of the Vermont Progressive Party ?

As well as the Vermont Auditor, 10/18 state legislators, and 4/12 of the Burlington city council. They're the most successful 3rd party in America.
