Rick Perry said that once we're out of Iraq, Iran is going to move in at "literally the speed of light".  Given that Iran has managed to develop such a highly advanced form of transport - possibly teleportation - this should be a supreme cause for concern.

Word on the street is that Iranian photons are entering Iraq at the speed of light right now.

The Iranians have their own protons?  We're doomed!

(No)

If it makes you feel any better, the Iranian protons were not going the speed of light.

Soooo why did anyone support this the first time around?

Because Iraq invaded and annexed Kuwait and showed serious signs of invading Saudi Arabia?  The first war was actually pretty reasonable, IMO.

I'd be curious to hear your case for opposing going into Iraq the first time in 1991.

Pretty reasonable compared the the 2003 war, I guess. What's funny is that Kerry voted against the Gulf War.
