"Surgeon" wasn't too bad, though it might have played a lot better if McCain had a more seasoned running mate.

The other two seem a bit more iffy.  The 'yet' on the last one struck me as rather odd too. 

Perhaps an irony is that McCain's ads remind me of Bush's ad campaign.  I wonder if he is unintentionally fueling the McCain=Bush image by following a similarly negative campaign?
