Sure they have a choice.
Senators are not required to quid pro quo for every contribution they get - in fact they don't even have a moral obligation to do so. Their main obligation is to carry out the will of the voters who elected them, and to vote on legislation in a manner that they consider in the best interests of the United States. Whether it would be a politially savvy move for them to do so or not is a more complex question.
My guess is that Mary will vote for, and Hillary against; and that the nomination will pass.
