Jill Derby is in, right?

I'll laugh if this backfires on Ross Miller.

What does the ballot look like?

Can only 1 person file as a Republican or a Democrat, while everyone else has to file as some sort of minor party?

Any signature requirement? If there's no filing fee and no signature requirement you could have hundreds of people filing to be on the ballot........

It's going to be like the Hawaii special election, where you can have as many members of one party as possible. As for your second question, it would appear not, so this may be one big clusterfuck.

Wow. So each party can sandbag the other by nominating hundreds of people under the Democratic/Republican party names...

Amodei is in.

http://www.rollcall.com/news/Mark-Amodei-Nevada-Special-Election-205438-1.html?pos=opolh

Amodei would be the fourth Republican to enter the race, following retired Navy Cmdr. Kirk Lippold, state Sen. Greg Brower and 2010 Senate candidate Sharron Angle. Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki announced last week that he would not run.

Three Democrats, including state Treasurer Kate Marshall and former House candidate Jill Derby, are also running in the all-party, winner-take-all election.

Kate Marshall won the Dem nomination today... 117 votes out of 122.

On Tuesday the NV Supreme Court will hear the case against Miller to see if it'll just be Amodei vs. Marshall, or all 29 (!) candidates who filed to run.

Amodei vs Marshall.

Angle however did win NV-02, if I recall. The problem was NV-01.

Perry leading by 12 and Romney by 16 in this district is quite a bit better than McCain who tied it.

President Bush won NV-02 by 16 points.

Marshall was a reasonable candidate in a statewide office. Anyone claiming otherwise is untruthful.

Coakley was a reasonable candidate in a statewide office. Anyone claiming otherwise is untruthful.

Obama has quite the talent for destruction.

Well, either that or it could have been a bunch of Democrats who called the blog to discredit the Magellan company ... Tongue

That's a bit of a stretch. You have to admit that the poll was very lopsided. It's doubtful that Marshall will get less than 40% of the vote, it's not like she's some random candidate. PPP has the a better record of accuracy of Magellan, anyway.

Quoted for truth!

@RalstonFlash

Glen Bolger poll for NV retailers shows @SenDeanHeller leading @RepBerkley in #nvsen, 48-42. Key is edge w/indies (52-23). Posting details.
