I literally lol'd when I saw this map. Wolf will veto this thankfully.

Sharif Street is such an opportunist. Funny that he's working on carving out a Congressional district to run in while also currently "exploring" a run for Senate where he's gained no traction and done practically no campaigning. If any Senate candidate deserves a seat carved out specifically for them, it's Malcolm Kenyatta.

Wolf's map is decent. It's clear that Harrisburg and Pittsburgh are the real pain points in every map I've seen so far--no one really knows what to do with them. Selfishly, I like the idea of putting Harrisburg into the 11th district to make it more competitive, since that's where I live.

Splitting the northern part of Montco into a district with Bucks is pretty strange, though the bits of Montco put into the 1st district are pretty much a wash as far as party registration. The district is lean D, but Fitzpatrick could still win there. I'd prefer not to put those bits of Montco into the 1st district, though.

This is the best shot Democrats have had at retaking the state legislature in years, btw.

This map seems fine. Keller and Glenn Thompson end up sharing a district, Wild's district gets a little more favorable for Rs, Cartwright and Lamb's districts are slightly more D favorable, no real significant change elsewhere. Pretty decent result for Dems. Pittsburgh and Harrisburg avoid being split as well.
