Picking a Dodgers-Indians World Series is silly and shows no hindsight of how the baseball post-season has actually played out for the last few years.

AL Wild Card: Yankees over Twins
NL Wild Card: DBacks over Rockies

ALDS: Indians over Yankees in 5, Red Sox over Astros in 5

NLDS: DBacks over Dodgers in 5, Nationals over Cubs in 4

ALCS: Red Sox over Indians in 7

NLCS: DBacks over Nationals in 7

World Series: Red Sox over DBacks in 6

Have you seen how well Cleveland's played lately? I'll give you the Dodgers possibly not making it, but the fact is the hot team usually makes a deep run if not wins it all, and that's Cleveland.

2016: 95 win Rangers bounced by Wild Card winning Blue Jays
2015: 100 win Cardinals bounced by Wild Card winning Cubs
2014: 98 win Angels bounced by Wild Card winning Royals, 96 win Nationals bounced by Wild Card winning Giants
2012: 98 win Nationals bounced by Wild Card winning Cardinals
2011: 102 win Phillies bounced by Wild Card winning Cardinals

The number one seeds in both leagues have met in the World Series just once in the last 18 years (2013). History says either the Dodgers or Indians (or both) are going to hit a wall at some point or another.

I would hate to see the Cubs and their deplorable fans celebrate on our turf tonight.

I'm rooting that much harder for the Cubs now. Eff the Walgreens Nationals.

Remember what they did to Steve Bartman? NOT NICE!

They had their moment of glory last year anyway. It’s our turn.

Right. Like it was her turn.

Anyway, Go Cubbies.

This is truly the darkest timeline. Hoping for Dodgers/Indians World Series.

Don't get your hopes up then.

I would rather get kicked in the nuts 100 times than watch the Yankees win the pennant

Go Dodgers

John Farrell was at the end of his rope. Making the postseason but stalling in the same round every year is not a good look.

Not surprised the Nats fired Baker. He's a good manager, but see above. He can help another team win.

We do not deserve such a good World Series match up. Seriously, these teams are really freakin good.
