Each Senator and newly-elected Senator is invited to meet one on one with the President-elect prior to inauguration. The President-elect hopes to have a meaningful discussion of the critical issues the nation faces.

My administration will be retaining GM Shua. Shua has done great work with the position, especially on the budget, and I look forward to seeing him keep the game interesting and provide the Senate and my administration with critical information.

I hasten to remind you that you have not yet been certified the winner of anything.  I find this thread contemptuous of our institutions and the democratic process.

I am confident that the accuracy of the results will be upheld and swiftly certified. In the mean time, I believe our problems run deep enough to justify getting a head start here. Smiley

We will continue moving forward with our transition as Tweed's case is dismissed as frivolous.

There is absolutely NO reason why the Court should decide to hear this "case" and any Amicus Briefs are appreciated.  Obviously my view of the Constitution does not suggest that the preamble or Senate powers clauses have anything to do with electoral law.

I ask my supporters to remain calm; without doubt, we will handle this situation appropriately.

Thank you, Nathan! Smiley

My administration cares deeply about foreign policy. The Secretary of External Affairs must be knowledgeable and able to effectively communicate diplomatically abroad. I have asked Vice President-elect Kalwejt to serve in this capacity during our administration.

I firmly believe Kalwejt is the best man for the job, and stand by the pick wholeheartedly.

A variety of reasons, including:
  • I didn't ask to be retained
  • I don't want to be retained
  • I don't really like the job
  • I like the Legislature much better
  • Kalwejt actually wanted the job
  • Kalwejt has never said apartheid was a good thing

Still, we thank you for your service.

The position of GTO Ambassador has been abolished and I am happy with that. On the other hand, I believe having an Ambassador to assist us with diplomacy and help the SoEA with news releases will be nothing short of helpful. With that said, I have asked former Assemblyman Cathcon to serve as Ambassador.

So, since GTO Ambassador is gone, you made a new position with almost the exact same name and duties and appointed someone to it? Is that the gist of it?

You could say that. It isn't exactly the same, and this position will probably end up more meaningful than the official GTO Ambassador ever was.

We have lacked good newspapers and news sources here lately but I expect that to change soon. With the surge in activity that we will see after I am inaugurated, I need someone effective to handle the media. I appoint Alfred Jones to be my administration's Press Secretary.

just out of curiosity - does the Constitution give the President the authority to create new positions, or are these considered powers implied in the nature of the executive office?

I don't believe I am creating new offices. My view is that these offices existed all along but aren't part of the Constitutional Cabinet. I think it is reasonable to say that there are Ambassadors working diplomatically for the DoEA, even if they can't always be played by someone in the game.

There have always been "ambassadors" as part of the structure of the DoEA; ambassador to Lebanon, ambassador to France, ambassador to Djibouti, ambassador to Barbados, and so on. As far as I know and the Wiki says, no ambassadorial position has ever been filled, excluding the position of GTO Ambassador. With the Foreign Policy Review Act of 2012 passed and signed by the President, you're basically attempting to reverse that act and reestablish the position of GTO Ambassador in all but name.

What you mean is, no Ambassador position has ever been filled until now. Smiley

The President-elect has invited President Polnut and Vice President Tmthforu to meet on his yacht in Southport, Connecticut to discuss the transition between administrations. Vice President-elect Kalwejt will also be in attendance along with undisclosed senior party officials.

For this position, I needed to find someone who will put what is proper before what is popular, and who will fight for justice. I have picked someone who is known for his nonpartisan approach and I am proud to nominate Afleitch as our next Attorney General.

Homelycooking has been an excellent steward of elections and though we have some differences, I am confident he will be able to work closely within the administration on common goals. Homelycooking is reappointed as SoFE and RG.

No thanks.  I like the office I hold now. Smiley

I read it as that too, but he said you could play guess the SoIA; attempt to guess who he would nominate.

And neither of you have made a guess! I know I'm not President yet, but where is your respect for authority?? Wink
