it seems that a lot of the politicians from that era have been involved in some type of hackery. McDade represented a district for 18 terms and towards the end of his career, he got involved in some sort of racketeering scandal. His successor, Sherwood, also got involved in some scandal where he was accused of assaulting a 29 year old women. I also knew Kanjorski had some baggage and I think Daniel Flood, who represented that same district in the 50s and 60s also ran into some trouble as well.
