Who cares?  It's not like the people of those states convinced Leahy and Chafee to vote against Roberts.

After all, this isn't Roberts' approval rating we're talking about.

Bush's approval only matters if it helps the Dems in '06, hurts Bush's legislative agenda, or forces Bush to moderate his Court picks.  It is now clear that number three is not an issue.  I also believe that numbers one and two aren't big issues either.
