I agree.  Take your sh**t elsewhere, WalMart.  I like Target better anyway.
Target isn't a large company?  Wouldn't they also be affected?

This bill can only have two effects:
1. Some companies will cut their payroll or shut down entirely.  This increases unemployment.
2. Other companies will raise prices to cover the additional costs.  This increases inflation.

What you have is a perfect recipe for stagflation at a time when the rest of the country is slowly recovering.  Maryland will be left behind economically if they continue to pursue this kind of policy.
