Paint Picture of US *IF* Perry wins and GOP wins 60 Senate seats in 2012

Basically we'd very quickly become a third world banana republic.

Put the kabash on the Tea Party and become a responsible governing party again.

Remember the "angry white males" of the 1990's.. the militia groups... Pat Buchanan....  all of that seemed to go away in 2000.

Yeah...what a great 8 years of peace and prosperity we had during that period.

Things were much better under kinder, gentler moderate Republicans like George W Bush.

Given Perry is good friends with the drug companies (remember his attempted gardasil mandate), watch him push for something like that. However, I know at least one Republican Senator would oppose it so he would need even more or else a Democrat to jump on board.

I take it this is if he has 60 Senators for the entire two year (no way he keeps 60 through midterms) period (compared to Obama only have 60 for part of the two years. While the Democrats screw up tends to be domestic (Obamacare) I'd be more concerned that a Republican with that situation would start another war. Domestically, Perry couldn't do anything worse than Obama would have done if he had 60 Senators for the whole two years.

Don't worry, he'll find a way.

Well, if I had a gun to my head I might. I'm sort of done with the "lesser of two evils" thing.
