Nevada more Democratic than Oregon huh? I'm happy they're becoming bluish but jealous they're above us on this poll

D:

No, they're becoming redish.

I don't know what "liberals" are depressed about. They're always calling themselves "moderates" (or implying they are) especially their pundits like O'Donnell, Matthews, Stewart (kind of), etc. and lecturing us on civility, compromise, pragmatism.... If "liberals" are "moderates," why are they so shocked that "moderates" are the overwhelming amount of blue state voters? And in terms of actual programs they have a point. Big government programs like social security, medicare, medicaid, etc. are the new center and have been since about 1970. To argue for actual cuts (not slowed spending increases) in any of those is to take a stance "far right" of most of the geriatrics in the Tea Party never mind most of the public. For "liberals" to be complaining about how these poll numbers are more proof of how FAR RIGHT America is now is like crying because your daddy just got you a free sundae, instead of one with nuts (when you're allergic to nuts).
