You can't link Lennon's death to Reagan .  Look to Carter's CIA

The man who brought us "Give Peace A Chance" was also huge 1980 Reagan supporter? Never would have thought Lennon like that scumbag. Eugene McCarthy supported Reagan though, so anything comes around. JFK would have supported Raygun if he was alive in 1980.

RFK would've as well.

I find it somewhat surprising, given that Lennon was hardcore into the New Age-y mystical mumbo-jumbo, not a very Reagan friendly field (though Nancy did like astrology).

I have to disagree with the person that said that Bobby Kennedy would've voted for Reagan.  He would've been a diehard supporter of his little brother.  Tongue

I was the one that said it and I stand by it.

RFK would definitely not have supported Reagan. He was more left-wing towards the end of his life than he was earlier in his life.

RFK would've been one of those Social Conservatives who would've joined the GOP in the 1970's had he lived. Much like the Huckabees did.

Conservatism as Reagan viewed it was like a three legged stool. The social conservatives (which RFK was one today's include Mike Pence,Michelle Bachamann ) economic conservatives (like Pierre DuPont IV, Jack Kemp and of current climate Ron Paul) and Defense Conservatives (like John Hostettler, Walter Jones). Neocons came to prominence in the 1990's in the GOP corrupting the stool.
