Maybe he can go join the Republicans now and be done with it.
There is speculation to that effect.

It wouldn't surprise me -in fact, most of the white Democratic delegation in Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, and West Virginia would be more at home in the GOP. 

Arkansas does still have a sizable number of real Democrats.

There are even genuine liberals like Bill Halter. West Virginia also has a few.
