Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

ayy lmao

Lynch is an FF and only has a reputation as a "moderate" because he has a few token culturally conservative attitudes (that don't even really show up in his voting record any more)--he voted against Obamacare from the left, for God's sake--so of course I'm enthusiastically supporting him.

Funny, I get far more triggered by Lynch's district than her. In fact I'd say he represents one of the worst places in the country that voted for Hillary by far.

It's not even the worst part of Massachusetts, dude.

It's full of terrorist supporters and brutal mob thugs.

This stereotype hasn't been accurate in many years.

Is this basically Whitey Bulger country? Awesome in that case. Irish townies are the best

Whitey's home turf was in Somerville, which is in Mike Capuano's district and has gentrified.

Just out of curiosity, what is the worst part of MA?

For personal reasons I think it's Great Barrington, but speaking slightly more objectively, probably the northern tier of the state from the Merrimack Valley west to around Athol, where the casualization, inequalitization, and Rust Beltification of the non-Massachusetts Bay/MetroWest parts of the state are most advanced. The least terrible place in that area is Lawrence, solely because of its history. The nadirs are probably Carlisle and Fitchburg, for diametrically opposite reasons.

The idea that one of the most Catholic parts of the country, even if it's less than devout these days and otherwise liberal, is somehow out of line to have an ostensibly pro-life legislator also strikes me as an odd one.

She's not wrong, but a candidate who wasn't a video game developer probably would have been able to make that point without sounding like she was confusing reality with Mobile Suit Gundam.
