I remember once arguing with TNF in IRC and explaining hardcore vs. metal. He said that the Bolsheviks killing the Romanovs was a very metal thing. I said yes and that the hardcore thing to do would be to force them to listen to feminist lectures or do self-criticism to identify microaggressions or something.
And there you also have communists vs. SJWs.
I mean, the normal-person thing to do would be to have Nicholas and Alexandra cool their heels in prison for a while and kick Alexey and the Grand Duchesses out of the country. Which is more alt-country than anything else.
