I think actually he's said he looks up to me, although I'm not entirely sure why.

I hope he's okay with me, since he really is quite affable and easy to get along with, though we of course don't agree on a whole lot.

He likes me and is probably wondering when I'll get back to answering a long PM that he sent me a while back. (I'm actually writing a response right now but it's taking a while to think over how I want to word some things.)

He finds me interesting. He thinks I tell the truth. He thinks I am a good man. He understands that how I weight the competing considerations is sometimes different from his, but does not think that leaves me wanting in the eyes of his God. Nathan is a wise kid, and maybe overly generous in his assessment of me. Oh, he probably thinks I am a bit too hedonistic and dissipated or something. We all have our character flaws.

Hit the nail on the head. That's exactly my opinion of you.
