Elizabeth II is not the sort of person who abdicates something she was taught to understand as a duty. The last monarch to abdicate did so for venal and selfish reasons.

Violent terrorism against what would almost certainly be an anodyne constitutional monarchy strikes me as the exact opposite of worthwhile.

I like the idea of purely symbolic terrorism. For instance, at some point in the future I plan to march a small army (say, three other people or whatever) to Eton and attack it with toy bow and arrows or something.

That sounds delightful, but there's a point at which symbolic terrorism, uh...stops being symbolic. Being a Japanese student, I tend to think of this as 'going Mishima'.
