Keystone Phil is a longtime poster here who was apparently saying for years that Santorum had what it took to be a Presidential contender despite losing in 2006 by 18 points. Now that Phil's been proven more or less correct, 'congratulations Phil' is something we say a lot around here.

However, it should be noted that Congratulations Phil was actually the title of a memorable post by resident Romney fanboy Winfield. The congratulations was not for anything Santorum did, but rather for the election to the Senate of Pat Toomey, another of Phil's favorites.

Ah, I see. That was during my casual lurking phase, before my time by a few months if you will.
