Warnock wins by between 1-2 points. Heard it here first.

1.5 looks about right. A little disappointing, but the seat is now Warnock's likely as long as he wants it.

Paulding county is done. No change in the margin compared to November. This is exactly the type of place Walker had to improve in to have a chance.

Clarke county, home of UGA, is also complete. Warnock improved on his November margin by 4 points.

I will say if there's one place I could see a non negligible amount of first round Libertarian, second round Warnock voters, it would be the biggest college town in the state.

Only 7 counties are under 70% reporting. Three of them are Fulton, DeKalb and Cobb. Two more are tiny rurals.

It's time to call this.

I gotta say, it would have been fun to see senator Walker

No, it would have been exploitative, terrible and sad. Thankfully, we will never have to worry about that and Herschel can hopefully move into a quiet, perhaps assisted community where he can live out the rest of his life without being used by vultures.

Bro apparently Warnock won most precincts in eastern Cobb, almost every Henry and Gwinnett precinct, and a few precincts in Cherokee County. That’s actually insane

If democrats start to get around 40% in Cherokee County then I think republicans will be done in Georgia

Forsyth and Cherokee have traditionally been and still are the 2 biggest R vote nets in the state. In 2020, Trump net 100k between them. The GOP would have to make up those votes from somewhere else, but it's unclear where at this point.

Unless the GOP starts making serious inroads with Black voters, which doesn't look likely based on DeKalb and Fulton precinct results (Warnock pulled almost Obama level numbers in places like Lithonia and the West End) I don't see where they find them. The Virginianization is almost complete here.

Precinct loyalty map for the 2021 special runoff and the 2022 runoff in the Atlanta metro. Warnock improved in most places, but it looks like his biggest gains were in North Fulton and East Cobb:

That little island of red between Forest Park and South Fulton amuses me.
That is an industrial park. Any residents there are likely homeless. Bit off topic but interestingly in 2020, the most heavily homeless precinct in San Francisco was also the most Republican.
