I find this more than a little hard to believe. Not because I think Trump's incapable of having these views, but because he's usually somewhat careful to avoid insulting his base.

At some point these people have to start coming forward. Majority of the military, especially the upper levels are not fond of Trump. If they come forward they will be protected, if they don't, nothing changes and he still has at least a one in three chance this November.

You could argue that nothing would change either way, based on the past three years or so. 

Still more likely to move the needle than "anonymous sources"

No, there's no voice recording, no sources that aren't anonymous, and as Trump so prophetically said, he could kill someone on 5th avenue and his fans wouldn't care.

Sadly, his remarks will make no difference and change no votes.

I don't think these comments will move the needle since there's no audio. But Trump is running out of time and it's not like this will gain him support either, this story is pushing the decent unemployment numbers out of the headlines.

I don't understand why they're staying anonymous. Makes me think it might not be true. Either way it doesn't help Trump's numbers so I don't care that much.

If you just don't care, fair enough, but it takes a real dumbass to continuing denying this happened when even Fox News says it did.

Then tell the people who heard it to come out of the shadows. Over 50% of the country is behind them, a good chunk, perhaps even a majority of the military is as well. If they truly want to get the man out of office they'll come forward. Otherwise, it's just a rumor no matter how many networks report it, and it won't change a thing.

What exactly does it mean to be a "pro-military" president? Was George Bush "pro-military" for sending hundreds of Americans off to die for no good reason in Iraq? Was Lyndon Johnson "pro-military" for prolonging the Vietnam War because he was afraid of the blow it'd have to his ego if he pulled out? Was Obama "anti-military" for not starting any major wars? Serious question.

Pro military means you hug flags and say you love soldiers.

You know the really sad part of this story?  Regardless of its veracity, nearly everyone can easily see Trump saying everything he is alleged to have said.  We know the content of his character well enough by this point.  

And we know the racist character of BLM.  The anarchist character of Antifa.  And the cowardly character of Joe Biden.
