I would be so ecstatic if Biden chose Warren, I might even start volunteering for him. Haven't done that since Obama '08.

I could see myself voting third party if Biden picked Gillibrand. She's the worst Dem in the senate, possibly in all of congress - an empty suit, idpol obsessed Karen.

My current bet, considering how consistently lucky Trump is and has been, that Biden will pick Big Fat Fatty (D-GA).

She had been losing weight for awhile, but appears to have gained again. Unfortunate, as Gil Cisneros' weight loss story that helped bring him over the line could've been repeated on a nationwide scale.

Susan Rice was incredibly disrespectful to Snoop Dogg and should be nowhere near the ticket.

Is this a serious post, and if so is there some context?

Here's a good summary.

Lmao Rice is obviously in the right here.

Journalist reporting on Kobe's death rightfully covers the totality of his public life, which includes the rape charge.

Snoop attacks and threatens said journalist.

Rice defends said journalist.

I fail to see the problem.

What rape charge? He was never charged with a thing. Do you assume all black men are guilty off bat or only those accused by white women?

When Liz Warren dies is the msm gonna bring up the Marine who she supposedly spanked? No because the story was bs. Same here, Kobe's accuser didn't even show up to court. Snoop was rightfully angry that the media was trying to tarnish his dead friend (whose daughter also died btw) not even a week after he passed. If Snoop Dogg got her this heated I can only imagine how Kim jong Un would make her react...

Eh, I'm not sure. Personally I like Demings fine and think she's more than qualified, but if "Kamala is a cop" became a thing I can only imagine how certain portions of the left would react to an actual cop.

Help me out here. It’s got to be between Harris, Warren, and a third person at this point,  probably Duckworth. So why wait all the way till August?

Better to do as much possible vetting and make the announcement when more people are tuned into the race. IIRC Obama did not reveal his choice until around the same time in 2008, if not later.

Harris, Warren and Duckworth are the only real choices at this point. Everyone else has too much baggage.

Bottoms was really impressive tonight though I doubt she'll get the VP slot. Future GA governor for sure.

That's a good list. All would be fine choices, with the exception of Rice.

The only woman on the list who comes across aggressive is Rice, another reason why she should be far away from the VP slot.

Also worth noting, she could be talking about a national service program similar to what a lot of Democrats propose. I certainly have my own feelings about that, but I don’t think it would disqualify her. Matter of fact a lot of older voters might like it. We will have to see when the interview comes out but I think it’s too early to count Her out

Mandatory national service during peacetime is anti american, and that's not a phrase I throw out often.

As expected Rice gets virtually no support from black voters. She's probably the only pick who would actually hurt Biden's numbers, like Lieberman did to Gore in 2000.

Though at this point I think Biden picks a woman of color so you're down to Harris, Rice, Duckworth, Demings & Grisham really. I'm sure you could still float the Abrams & Bass' of the world but I think they could possibly snag an Administration job.
What about KLB? She seems more likely than Grisham, Bass and Abrams at least.

I forgot to add her. KLB is who I hoped he picked but I think she's lost all momentum. I still have a gut feeling he's going to pick Susan Rice.

I hope Biden does not get blindsided by loyalty. She would be a diasterous pick.

I completely disagree. People keep saying they'll trash her for Benghazi, people don't care about Benghazi and especially the Black community could give a crap about Benghazi. If the GOP try to drum that up, it'll fall on deaf ears as the Trump Administration just lies about everything and Hillary Clinton was cleared of any wrong doing. The "Meh... What about her e-mail's though?!" wouldn't stick to Susan Rice either. Also, the working relationship with her and Biden is well documented and I think he'll be most comfortable with her by his side.

Kamala is the clear favorite to win the nomination and she'll be a great pick and I think the West Coast would be excited since Reagan was the last west coast politician to be held to such a high position in government. I think Duckworth would be a great choice as well, Warren would be a great choice, Demings would be a great choice since she's from a swing state and I don't think her Police Chief record would hurt her unless they found something in the vetting process and KLB is my choice but I don't see it happening but I think she could really win over swing voters for being a straight shooter.

Overall, unlike most people on this board, I don't think Biden could make the wrong choice right now. Even Grisham I think would be a great pick at this point. I trust the Biden team will pick who they think will work best with them and who is most ready for the job. That's why I think Susan Rice will be picked and she's done pretty good interviews with no gaffes so far except with the Far Left about the Draft, which is dumb. I support using the draft in the most extreme circumstance, I mean other countries mandate that you do 2 years of military service anyways, so I don't want to hear from the Far Left that it's UnAmerican, its quite the opposite.

"Because other countries do it, it isn't un American."

That's... not good logic

Susan Rice biggest problem is she is too elite to connect with the average voter.
Nice way of saying "uppity black woman"...

Most of the candidates are black women yet he only called Rice elite. Very stupid comment.

Next week The convention can't come soon enough. I'm tired of the Pro vs Anti Kamala camps bickering about which one is more irritating. You both are!

I don't get the hype around her, nor do I get the disdain. Kamala is very generic center left Dem

I'll throw my thoughts out here: I am still of the mindset that Kamala has always been at the top of the list for Joe. Obama chose a former primary rival (Biden) and they became a great team not only in context of the election, but in office as well. That must be influencing Biden's decision making. If it isn't Kamala I'll be surprised.

Let us hope. Rice might be superior to Karen bass but I still think she'd be a total disaster. Looks like Kamala it is.

Biden signals Al Gore is the pick:

When did Gore become a woman?

Well, the way things are going on the left it wouldn't surprise me. Wink She would probably be a better vice president then most of the choices within my opinion. lol

Truly a knee slapper, "Jessica"
