This sounds like another good one. Strange, the idea of an Anne Richards presidential run has never occurred to me, despite the fact that she was somewhat of a 'star' on the Democratic stage in the late 80's, early 90's
Only thing that I think could have potentially hindered her was her delivery. The 'Bush born with a silver foot in his mouth' kind of twang plays well in a lot of places (my home state being one of them
) but might not work as well in other places. Her 'southern-ness' was a step above Clinton's or Carter's, IMO
