WEB Dubois: Please change the database numbers to Haslam vs. McWherter.

I thought Wamp had the nomination pretty well sewn up?

I did too.

Any primary polling?

Where did y'all get that idea? Smiley

The last independent poll of the primary was months ago and had Wamp "in the lead" somewhere in the 20's with a majority of voters undecided.

The only thing recent is Haslam's internal that has him up by 37-24 (Wamp)-15 (Ramsey).

Ramsey has probably spiked up a bit with his "Give 'em (DC) the boot" TV ads and he's got decent support in middle Tennessee.  This is still a very competitive race, though most observers would still give the advantage to Haslam.

Personally I'm still undecided - I like all three of them.  I regret that Bill Gibbons pulled out - he would have been by far the best Governor.
