Most people have given up all hope of good relations between the U.S. and China, the two most important big states. It's sad, if we teamed up we'd be unstoppable.

And I am sure that there are reasons for this just as compelling as those calling on the United States and the Soviet Union to put aside their differences during the Cold War. After all, wealth, resources, and ambition, rather than ideals of justice, ought to determine the world's fate.
