Really? These protestors can't honestly believe that. Whatever one may think about what transpired in 2016, Russia is certainly not our friend.

Interestingly enough, the Russian "cyber"-attack on Estonia in 2007 began with protests by ethnic Russians over the decision to relocate the statue of a Soviet soldier and a graveyard to outside the the Estonian capital's city limits.
