Father Coughlin in the 30s is the only near-fascist US public figure I can think of. Several have been racist, nationalist and authoritarian, but not in the fascist combo, so to speak.

Nixon?

Nixon was very moderate, so unless you think that Rockefeller Republicans are Fascists, no.

Don't insult Nixon by comparing him to that milquetoast, silver spoon-fed, so-called excuse for a Republican.
