"Disproven"? You can't. It's got nothing to do with whether or not we have a state religion. It's the character, spirit of the country. Deal. With. It.
This sort of nasty "Deal. With. It" attitude is far from Christian. Christians don't behave like that or at least they shouldn't if they are truly following the word. With that said, the country wasn't founded on religion, it was founded on democratic principles.
