Isn't Goldwater pro-choice and very socially liberal in general? So I'd imagine that this would hurt him... But he should still eke it out because Wulfric and I split the conservatve vote. And yeah, I'd skip New Hampshire and ignore the state.

Yeah, would definitely be issue, although if I emphasise my opposition to late-term abortions it might soften the blow a bit. As for "very socially liberal in general", I suppose that would depend on what exactly you consider "social" issues. For example, I consider myself mostly supportive of gun rights, and my views on foreign policy and death penalty might help with the hawkish and "tough on crime" types. Or maybe I just end up failing spectacularly by alienating both moderates and social conservatives. Tongue

So your basically like Giuliani except maybe more libertarian on the drug war?

Yeah, that's pretty accurate, although IIRC Rudy is also more supportive of gun control than me. There are probably other differences that I'm forgetting about.

Ouch, I got left out Cry (and DavidB, too). Also, Cathcon and ChairmanSanchez (both Pro-Trump) need to be in this, for sure.

Otherwise, great match ups as a whole. Goldwater gets my support.

I'd imagine that you would mostly be competing for votes against me and Classic Conservative?

I'd say that I'd be competing for some of the same voters as Goldwater. I may be somewhat more socially conservative (still liberal on things like drugs and LGBT but I'm generally to the right socially) then him, but I am more foreign policy and international affairs.

That makes me wonder, what major issues are we drastically different on? Abortion? Are there any others?
